Experienced pattern makers translate the approved direction into a workable pattern and first sample. A typical first sample takes around two weeks after the brief and materials are clear, although complexity and special sourcing can affect timing.
We review proportion, measurements, balance, workmanship and cost implications, then consolidate the corrections needed for the next sample or approval stage.
